PHENYLEPHRINE:

Phenylephrine is a selective α1-adrenergic receptor agonist. Which relieves nasal congestion, opens up the breathing passages and aids in expectoration.

CHLORPHENIRAMINE MALEATE:

CPM is the first-generation alkylamine antihistamine with substantially low sedative effect. It helps to reduce allergic symptoms like itchy skin rash etc

Each uncoated tablet contains Cetirizine Dihydrochloride IP 5mg + Phenylephrine Hydrochloride IP 10mg + Paracetamol IP 325mg + Caffeine (Anhydrous) IP 30mg

Phenylephrine:

Phenylephrine is a decongestant of the selective α1-adrenergic receptor class.

Cetirizine HCl: The preferred second-generation antihistamine, a renowned racemic selective H1 receptor.

Caffeine: Caffeine enhances the analgesic activity of Paracetamol and serves to reduce the incidence of sedation due to Chlorpheniramine maleate.

KAFOMED SYRUP: Each 5ml contains Ambroxol HCl IP 15mg + Terbutaline Sulphate 1.25mg + Guaiphenesin 50mg and Menthol-2.5mg (60ml). This combination of Terbutaline Sulphate, Ambroxol Hydrochloride, and Guaiphenesin is an expectorant. Terbutaline is a selective beta2- adrenergic agonist which predominantly stimulates beta2-receptors, thus producing relaxation of the bronchial smooth muscle. It is mainly used in Cough associated with upper respiratory tract infection, allergy, and asthma. 

KAFOMED-DX SYRUP: Each 5ml contains Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide IP 10mg + Chlorpheniramine Maleate IP 2mg Phenylephrine Hydrochloride IP 5mg
