 Each film coated tablet contains Azithromycin Dihydrate IP Eq to Azithromycin anhydrous 250mg. Azithromycin is a semi-synthetic macrolide antibiotic of the azalide class. Like other macrolide antibiotics, azithromycin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit of the bacterial 70S ribosome. Binding inhibits peptidyl transferase activity and interferes with amino acid translocation during the process of translation. Its effects may be bacteriostatic or bactericidal depending on the organism and the drug concentration. Azithromycin having long half-life, which enables once daily dosing.  

 Azithromycin is used to treat many different types of infections caused by bacteria, such as respiratory infections, skin infections, ear infections, and sexually transmitted diseases 

  Each film-coated tablet contains Levofloxacin Hemihydrate IP 250mg/500mg Levofloxacin Hemihydrate is a renowned broad-spectrum antibiotic of fluoroquinolone drug class. It works with the inhibition of bacterial topoisomerase IV and DNA gyrase (both of which are type II topoisomerases), enzymes required for DNA replication, transcription, repair and recombination. It is mainly used in Pneumonitis, Meningitis, Pelvic inflammatory disease, cellulitis, urinary tract infections, prostatitis and endocarditis.

Each film-coated tablet contains Ofloxacin 200mg + Ornidazole 500mg. OFLOXACIN is a second generation, fluoroquinolone broad-spectrum antibiotic. Ofloxacin is bactericidal and Ornidazole is a potent formulation of choice with quick and sustained effect against protozoan infections. It is highly effective in mild to moderate bacterial infections. It is active against both protozoans’ anaerobic pathogens. It mainly used in Amoebiasis, Giardiasis, GI infections, Diarrhoea of mixed origin, gynaecological infections and dental infections. 

Each uncoated dispersible tablet contains cefpodoxime Proxetil 200mg Cefpodoxime Proxetil is a potent third generation cephalosporin antibiotic, active against most Gram +ve and Gram –ve Organisms. Cefpodoxime is a bactericidal agent that acts by inhibition of bacterial cell wall synthesis. It is highly stable in presence of beta-lactamase producing organisms. It is mainly used in Community acquired pneumonia, Bronchitis, Acute Sinusitis, COPD and Pharyngitis/ Tonsillitis, Urinary tract infections and skin & soft tissue infections. 

Each uncoated dispersible tablet contains cefixime trihydrate 200mg + Lactic Acid bacillus 60 million spores. Cefixime is a highly potent third generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It is highly active against H. influenza, treptococcuspyogens, streptococcus pneumonia, Branhamellacatarrhalis. It is potent against both Gram +ve and Gram –ve bacteria. It is resistance to hydrolysis by beta lactamases. Posses’ long elimination half-life leading to high patient compliance. It is mainly used in Nosocomial infections, urinary tract infections, upper& lower respiratory tract infections, Skin & soft tissues infections and post-surgical antibiotic coverage.

Amoxycillin Trihydrate (500mg) + Potassium Clavulanate (125mg) + Lactobacillus Acidophilus (60Million spores)

Clavumed-625 LB Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Amoxycillin, Potassium Clavulanate and Lactobacillus Acidophilus. Amoxycillin is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Potassium Clavulanate is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Amoxycillin against bacteria. This treats your infection but may upset your digestive system by killing healthy gut bacteria as well. Lactobacillus Acidophilus is added to restore the balance of healthy bacteria.
